Two-day sexual health harm reduction event for Wolastoqery youth ages 18-25
Do you know where to access sexual health care and resources? Do you know what STBBI’s are and how to prevent them? How do we create space to be sexual beings while also protecting the sacredness of our bodies? This event will create safe spaces to ask questions and break the stigma surrounding sexual health.
Youth will learn from Healing our Nation, community health members, the WTCI health team, and Knowledge Carriers. Day one will take place at the Delta Fredericton and Day Two will take place at the Okuwaponikuk Cultural Land Based Learning Site at Penniac, ending with a sweat.
Each youth will have a two-night stay (August 17 & 18) at the Delta Fredericton (even youth from the Fredericton area) and mileage will be covered for youth outside the Fredericton area.
There is a maximum registration of 30 youth and hotel registration deadline is July 20, 2026!
